In 2021, I was recognized in the Autodesk Construction Solutions 40 under 40 Champions of Construction award list. I am honoured to be named on the list alongside such a great group of industry leaders.
Kristopher’s leadership was largely felt and appreciated during the pandemic. He advocated for developing solutions that would help the firm’s design teams transition to remote work while continuing to drive progress on key initiatives.
This is amazing recognition after what has been a challenging 3 years leading Digital Design at Thornton Tomasetti. We’ve rapidly matured the Digital Design function, routinized, automated, and developed one of the most mature set of policies and training in the company. All of this has been done at the same time that our colleagues in information technology have been carrying out a major overhaul of the IT foundation in the company covering everything from ISP, VPN, file synchronization, and application deployment.
My team has doubled in size since we started which has helped but, really, each member of the team has been pushing really hard in an environment of uncertainty to make amazing change happen. This award has my name on it but is a recognition of the team’s effort over the last 3 years.
